Eric Delevaque, PhD

Eric is an inventor, executive, and team leader with a deep technical and operational track record of success. He is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and led two European technology pioneers to global growth and successful exits.

Eric serves as Executive Vice President of 3S Photonics Group, a leading optical component manufacturer with €53 million of revenues in 2011. Eric joined 3S Photonics following the acquisition of his previous company, ManLight, by the group. As CEO, Eric led ManLight to €4.1 million revenues only 2 years after inception.

Prior to ManLight, Eric was founder and CEO of HighWave Optical Technologies, specialized in optical components for the telecom industry. In partnership with Newbury Ventures, Eric led HighWave’s birth as the first spinout from France Telecom Labs. Eric led the company to €35 million in quarterly revenue three years after inception, followed by an IPO after which the company was valued at € 4 billion.

Prior to HighWave, Eric was a Team Leader at le Centre National d’Etudes des Communications, now Orange Labs. He holds a degree in mechanics from STS Saint Quentin and a PhD in Fundamental Physics from Lille University.
